Aino is a 4-Star Hydro character who was added to Genshin Impact during version 6.0.

While Aino was featured as a boosted 4-Star character on the Phase 2 5-Star Banners in version 6.0, she will be added to the standard Banner in Genshin Impact after 6.0, and also occasionally feature on future Banners as one of the boosted 4-Stars again.

If you want to prepare for if you get her, we've listed Aino's Ascension materials and Talent materials so you can level her up to her full potential right away. To understand how you might play her, we've also detailed what we know about Aino's kit and Constellations.

  • Passive one: Modular Efficiency Protocol - Aino is granted the corresponding buff effects based on the party's Moonsign.
    • Moonsign: Ascendant Gleam - Her Elemental Burst Precision Hydronic Cooler is enhanced: The Cool Your Jets Ducky will fire water balls more frequently, and the water balls will deal AOE Hydro damage over a larger area of effect.
  • Passive two: Structured Power Booster - Aino's Elemental Burst damage is increased by 50% of her Elemental Mastery.
  • Passive three: Moonsign Benediction: Force Limit Analysis - When Aino is in the party, the party's Moonsign will increase by one level.

Aino Normal Attack - Bish-Bash-Bosh Repair

Aino performs up to three consecutive spear strikes if tapping the normal attack button. Holding it down drains Stamina over time to perform a continuous spinning attack on nearby opponents, which ends with a powerful slash attack.

As with most plunging attacks, Aino strikes the ground below dealing AOE (area of effect) damage upon impact, and damaging any enemies caught on her path to the ground.

Aino Elemental Skill - Musecatcher

Aino throws a Musecatcher forward and deals Hydro damage while being dragged behind it. When the dragging stops, Aino deals AOE Hydro damage to nearby opponents. Holding the Skill button down will cause this attack to behave differently though! Aino enter 'Aiming Mode' and be able to adjust the Musecatcher's throwing direction.

Aino Elemental Burst - Precision Hydronic Cooler

Aino deploys a custom water-spraying device, the Cool Your Jets Ducky, to establish a Focused Hydronic Cooling Zone. While active, the Cool Your Jets Ducky will periodically fire water balls at nearby opponents, dealing Hydro damage.
