The Grow a Garden Jungle Egg was added to the game as part of the Seed Stages update and offers you the chance to add new pets to your garden.

Much like the Oasis Egg, getting a Jungle Egg involves a little bit of luck whilst playing as part of this event. If you're lucky, then you might find yourself a useful pet like the Tiger!

With this in mind, let's learn how to get the Jungle Egg in Grow a Garden, including the Tiger pet traits.

How to get the Jungle Egg

The Jungle Egg can be earned via the Seed Stage event or purchased from the Pet Eggs vendor.

In the event, the only way you can acquire this is by increasing the stages of the four seeds the event focuses on. As you increase your seed stages, you'll unlock more rewards and when going from Stage 3 to 4, there is a chance one of the rewards will be a Jungle Egg.

Besides that, should the egg go in stock at the Pet Eggs vendor, you'll be able to purchase it for 30,000,00 Sheckles.

The Jungle Egg has a fairly low drop rate from the event and may take a while to go in stock at the vendor. With a hatch time of 8 hours, you'll have to wait a bit to see which pet you've rolled for.

There are five Jungle Egg pets, so let's take a look at their odds…

Jungle Egg pets and odds

The Jungle Egg can hatch five pets in Grow a Garden. Here are the odds of hatching each one:

Pet Odds Rarity
Tree Frog 40% Rare
Hummingbird 30% Rare
Iguana 24% Legendary
Chimpanzee 5% Mythical
Tiger 1% Divine

Jungle Egg Pet Traits

Here are the traits for all of the Jungle Egg pets:

Pet Trait
Tree Frog Advances the growth of a random plant by 15 minutes every 3 mins.
Hummingbird Every 58 seconds, converts a random single-havest plant into its seed equivalent. This doesn't apply to favourited plants.
Iguana Transforms plants with Frozen mutation into either Chilled or Wet. Doesn't apply to favourited crops.
Chimpanzee Every few minutes, the Chimpanzee will pick a fruit to take to the sell stall and sell. There's a low chance (2%) a fruit does not get collected.
Tiger Every 12 mins, the Tiger shares XP among nearby pets.
The Tiger will also randomly replace mutations in your garden with other mutations every 8 minutes..

In our opinion, the best pets from the Jungle Egg are the Tiger and Chimpanzee.

Whilst I could see the Tree Frog being handy to increase the rate at which some plants are growing, the Tiger is not only boosting the efficiency of nearby pets, it's also giving you random mutations - some of which might be incredibly rare, and you now have this on demand access to them.

As for the Chimpanzee, they'll just be a handy helper for when not playing the game that you'll constantly be able to make money. Though you'll want to be careful that they are only collecting the plants you don't want to keep - in case there's specific crops you have in your garden you don't want to get rid of.

Best of luck hatching the Jungle Egg! Make sure to check out the Grow a Garden codes page and seeds list.
