Amber Spine was released as part of the Pet Mutation update in Grow a Garden.

This is one of a few new seeds added in the update, and being another multi-harvest of the Mythical rarity, it's a solid one to get, though certainly not one of the absolute best. Still, it's handy to have and especially if you're still building up your farm, it's for sure worth looking into getting your hands on it!

With this in mind, let's take a look at how to get the Amber Spine in Grow a Garden.

How to get Amber Spine in Grow a Garden

You can get Amber Spine seeds from one of the Crafting Tables under the 'Cosmetics/Crafting' umbrella on the side opposite the Seed Shop. Since this is a craftable item instead of purchasable, it has different requirements for how to obtain.

Here's what you need to be able to get your hands on Amber Spine seeds in Grow a Garden:

  • Cactus seed
  • Pumpkin crop
  • Horsetail crop
  • 650,000 Sheckles
  • Time to craft: 30 minutes

It has a minimum value of 55,000 Sheckles without any crop mutations, so with the right mutations, you'll be able to make a solid profit.

Amber Spine seeds have a 'Mythical' rarity, and they're a multi-harvest crop, meaning you'll be able to continuously grow and sell these over time.

If you're lucky enough to have a Red Fox pet and someone on the same server as you is growing a Amber Spine, then there's a chance your fox will steal one of its seeds. If your Red Fox is at Level 1 then there's a chance this can happen every 10 minutes, so you will still have to wait. The downside to this method is that the Red Fox is from the Mythical Egg, which is currently unavailable in the game.

A similar method could be used with the Racoon pet, but this pet is currently unavailable in-game as it could only be obtained using the Night Egg during the Lunar Glow event.

If neither of these pet-based methods will work for you, then it's back to the crafting table. We recommend keep chipping away at growing your farm, and eventually you'll be able to get your own Amber Spine by collecting the required seeds, crops, and Sheckles.
