Completely Normal celebrates Normal-type Pokémon in Pokémon Go! Ensuring this sometimes overlooked Pokémon type truly takes the spotlight, this event sees both the release of Dudunsparce and changes to the Ditto disguises.

Alongside this, there's three Completely Normal Collection Challenges and a selection of event-exclusive research tasks to complete too. All of these will be available until the Completely Normal event ends on Saturday 27th September at 8pm (local time).

Don't forget about the Completely Normal bonuses either, especially since one makes it easier to encounter a shiny Dunsparce in Pokémon Go.

On this page:

Very Normal Collection Challenge Pokémon list

Very Normal is the first of three Collection Challenges running throughout the Completely Normal event in Pokémon Go. This means you have until Saturday 27th September at 8pm (local time) to complete it.

It's important to note that one of the Pokémon involved in Very Normal must be obtained via evolution for it to count towards the Collection Challenge. Obtaining this Pokémon through any other means, such as trading, will not count.

Here's all of the Pokémon in the Very Normal Collection Challenge and how to get them:

  • Dunsparce - In the wild or event-exclusive research task ('Catch 5 Normal-type Pokémon' or 'Evolve a Pokémon')
  • Dudunsparce - Visit our how to get Dudunsparce guide!

Rewards: 5,000 XP and one Lure Module.

Fairly Normal Collection Challenge Pokémon list

Fairly Normal is the second Collection Challenge running throughout the Completely Normal event in Pokémon Go. Like the one above, you have until Saturday 27th September at 8pm (local time) to complete it.

Another fact you need to keep in mind is that one of the Pokémon in the Fairly Normal Collection Challenge must be obtained via evolution. Getting this Pokémon through any other means will not count towards the challenge.

Below you'll find all of the Pokémon in the Fairly Normal Collection Challenge and how to get them:

  • Buneary - In the wild or seasonal field research task ('Earn 2 Candies walking with your buddy)
  • Lopunny - Evolve from Buneary using 50 Buneary Candy

Rewards: 5,000 XP and Dunsparce encounter.

Quite Normal Collection Challenge Pokémon list

Quite Normal is the final Collection Challenge running as part of the Completely Normal event until its conclusion on Saturday 27th September at 8pm (local time). If you miss this deadline, then you won't be able to collect its rewards.

There's two Pokémon in this Collection Challenge which can only be obtained via evolution. Sure you might get the chance to catch these Pokémon in the wild, but doing so will not count towards the Collection Challenge itself.

Here's all of the Pokémon in the Quite Normal Collection Challenge and how to get them:

  • Pidgey - In the wild
  • Pidgeotto - Evolve from Pidgey using 12 Pidgey Candy
  • Pidgeot - Evolve from Pidgetto using 50 Pidgey Candy

Rewards: 5,000 XP and Dunsparce encounter.
