Silk Hearts in Silksong are crucial items to collect on your adventure as they'll allow you to make better use of the Silk you collect by allowing you to regenerate it faster.
There are three Silk Hearts to collect in Hollow Knight: Silksong, each one you collect will fill one part of Silk charge when you use up all of your Silk (for example, using your Silk to Bind and heal Hornet). In short, they're important.

Fortunately, there's only three Silk Hearts to get in Pharloom and you'll collect them naturally as you progress through the story and defeat three specific bosses.
