This gorgeous 4K 240Hz QD-OLED Alienware monitor is 20 percent off from Amazon
A gorgeous OLED for less.

The Alienware AW2725Q is one of the best gaming monitors I've used this year, with its gorgeous QD-OLED panel, plus a high resolution and refresh rate for some lovely clarity and responsiveness amongst other elements that make it a class-leader.
It's genuinely life-changing to go from a more 'standard' panel to an OLED one, not least one with a 4K resolution, super smooth 240Hz refresh rate and all the benefits of a new QD-OLED panel across a smaller 27-inch screen. This deal from Amazon makes this panel the cheapest it's been since its release at £640 - that's a handy 20 percent discount on its £800 retail price.

Will has already waxed lyrical about Samsung's new 4th-gen QD-OLED panel that graces this Alienware screen and its brother from MSI, praising its immense colour accuracy, contrast and the deep, inky blacks that are typical OLED. The only downside is peak brightness, as has been typical with previous models - nonetheless, peak HDR brightness can be up to 1000 nits with this screen, and you get the added benefit of Dolby Vision for even more pop in supported content. This new panel type brings the benefit of a higher pixel density to allow for much clearer and sharper text - both Will and I have noticed this in our respective reviews and testing of the MSI and Alienware options for different outlets.
The move to 27-inches also benefits those who wish to use the AW2725Q for more intensive, competitive gaming, as there's less screen to focus on against a larger 32-inch option, while competitive players can also benefit from the near-instant pixel response times found with this panel type. VRR support is also plentiful with Nvidia G-Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and even VESA Adaptive-Sync all being present. This means that whatever GPU you’re using, you won’t experience any screen tearing or juddering for a smooth experience.
The AW2725Q benefits from a huge selection of inputs, including a pair of HDMI 2.1 FRl ports for the full 4K/240Hz grunt, with one of those ports featuring eARC capabilities if you want to hook up external speakers or a soundbar. It also comes with a DisplayPort, as well as a three port USB-A hub controlled by the USB-B port, while further forwards is a USB-C port that can provide up to 15W of power delivery.
This Alienware option also looks fantastic with its deep black chassis, complete with small illuminated Alienware logo, as well as a smaller base to make it easier to fit on smaller desks. The stand also offers solid adjustment with height adjust, tilt and swivel. You don’t get any portrait orientation, unfortunately. What's more, its OSD is easy to navigate with plenty of options for game modes, HDR standards and more.
If you want to grab a new feature-rich 27-inch QD-OLED monitor for a fantastic price, you won't want to miss this Amazon deal on the Alienware AW2725Q.
